[comment on this] Thanks!
Thanks a lot for your comment. I usually love to edit Wikis like this, so hopefully I'll be sticking around for a good long while... ;)
By the way, do you know how to upload pictures? I'm not sure where to go for it. --YodaMasterZ 00:39, 28 April 2007 (UTC)
[comment on this] Actually...
I don't really know all that much about Wikis either, especially because I've never been an administrator before. Perhaps when I feel more accustomed with everything, I'll consider it, but right now I'm too Wiki-retarded to become an admin. :P --YodaMasterZ 01:10, 28 April 2007 (UTC)
- Being an Admin's not that hard.
- No, really! You just get more priveledges!! And i'm Wiki-retarded too, I have witnesses! Nathan 10:32, 1 May 2007 (UTC)
[comment on this] Template:Navbar
Sam, shouldn't this be at the top or bottom of every page automatically? Nathan

[comment on this] In case you haven't noticed:
There are hardly any templates! Can you at least take some from Wikipedia so that this site is functional? Also, the logos for som EPs are making the pages they're on glitch! User:Supuhstar/sig
- It is. And there are loads of templates... --ed (talk) (email) 15:59, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
- OK, what about the 2nd problem?User:Supuhstar/sig
- BTW, this, this, and this are what I'm talking about. And why can't I upload vector images like .svg and .emf? I know I can on Wikipedia.User:Supuhstar/sig
- I didn't create or import those, and still wouldn't. You can't upload vector images because I haven't enabled them - there are enough problems with this server already. I might do this if I get more technical info, but my forum account doesn't work and I can't search for the information I need.
[comment on this] Wii need more!
There isn't a page on the upcomming TS2 game for the Wii! There's some info on Wikipedia. User:Supuhstar/sig
- Obsolete entry. (MySims already exists) User:Supuhstar/sig
[comment on this] Official Fansite now?
I would like to register Simpedia as an official fansite on the official The Sims 2 website. before doing so, I need to know:
1. My site is presently capable of handling a fairly large number of visitors. I have adequate bandwidth.
| Yes | No |
|---|---|
| X |
2. I am the operator of the site being submitted or am able to speak officially on behalf of the site.
| Yes | No |
|---|---|
| X |
Speaking for me, of course, what should I choose? User:Supuhstar/sig
- I think we registered there now. You're not the operator of the site, but you can probably speak on behalf of the site to an extent, and we can handle a large number of visitors. :) --edK (talk) (email) 15:14, 26 June 2007 (UTC) By the way, Sam doesn't often come here anymore, so leaving these at my talk page would probably attract attention faster.
[comment on this] We need this to work pronto!
It will look like this when it should look like this! This is not a new issue, (it's been going on since June) but it does need to be fixed quickly!User:Supuhstar/sig
- Finding bug --EdK (talk) (email) 19:59, 3 July 2007 (UTC)
- Found 2 bugs - 1 fixed - 1 requires FTP edit so it's slow to fix --EdK (talk) (email) 20:22, 3 July 2007 (UTC)
- Second bug isn't fixable right now - bodged it up with an interwiki transclusion. --EdK (talk) (email)
- First bug = styles wrong
- Second bug = disallowed HTML by MediaWiki parser --EdK (talk) (email) 20:57, 3 July 2007 (UTC)
- Nope. :( --EdK (talk) (email) 21:26, 3 July 2007 (UTC)
- Now these pages just display "1. REDIRECT wikipedia:Template:Infobox CVG"! User:Supuhstar/sig
- Working on it. --EdK (talk) (email) 21:06, 4 July 2007 (UTC)
- For the sake of aestheticism, i put this in. See if you can model it after that. User:Supuhstar/sig
[comment on this] "the site administrator"
Can't you call yourself "Sam"? You are an admin but so are many others, saying "a developer" would be alot more helpful... --EdK (talk) (email) 12:32, 19 July 2007 (UTC)
[comment on this] Colors
Do you want me to make the CSS reflect this? --EdK (talk) (email) 12:55, 19 July 2007 (UTC)

[comment on this] Logo
When are you goiing to make this the Simpedia logo? I have it in .JPG .PNG .GIF .WMF .EMF formats! I've been waiting and waiting and just dont know what to say now! Please respond!
- (P.S. Can you make the background color #69AD45 instead of black?)
- Has this been decided as the official logo by anyone? If so, I'll do it. --EdK (talk) (email) 21:10, 7 August 2007 (UTC)
- I prefer this logo... Sorry, Orange Broadband has been down all week, only just turned on, but i doubt it'll be on completely... We're switching to PlusNet anyway! ¡иąтнąи!

- Please tell me when you have.
[comment on this] Please, Sam!
Let us keep Help:Download! The new or unregistered users NEED to know this information! WHY did you do this? It's not like you!
(P.S. Why New- and OldDownloadbox?)
—Supuhstar*
- Help:Download should contain information on downloading things, not on using an outdated template. All you need to know about creating a download page is now explained when you follow the link on the downloads page to "Add a download". And as for NewDownloadbox and OldDownloadbox, they are no longer in use, so they don't need to exist. It wastes space on the server. Sorry for deleting them all without explaining first, I'm quite busy at the moment and I was in a hurry. --Sam "The Boss"

- Plus, I forgot to say, Help:Download explained how to use the old way of setting up download boxes, which is now only used by administrators and experienced users. The template now uses more user friendly parameters which are created automatically (and ignored if they are blank). --Sam "The Boss"

[comment on this] Just wondering:
You said to Ed that the first thing you're gonna do is remove all the annoying systems/pages/policies which you anticipate I've created.
- I didnt do any policies
- What's a system
- How is an article annoying?
- Why did u delete the link to fffss?
- By policies, I mean doing things like creating random templates such as this, writing this all over the place, etc.
- This, this, this, this, this, etc.
- An article is not annoying, but as far as I can see you haven't created or edited any actual articles since I left.
- I deleted the link to FFFSS because we no longer follow their policies.

Here's my argument:
-
- Category:Downloads by *** pages were Nathan's idea. I had nothing to do with it.
- Why not welcome new users?
-
- I am allowed to make my on templates for my page, or at least that's what i was told.
- I firmly believe all those templates are necessary
- Dluser was not by me, though.
-
- I'm in school now. I don't have time to write full articles, so I try to contribute to Simpedia in smaller ways (such as downloads).
-
- That makes sense.
- Also, if this is not a sufficient argument to my case, give me a thing to do and I will do it perfectly. User:Supuhstar/sig
- Did you know your signature takes up more space than that entire message? --Sam "The Boss"

- Sam, I have to agree with Supuhstar on this. Templates on one's own page really should be allowed, and I think it's about time we got a TeamSpeak server so we could discuss this for real. --EdK (talk) (email) 07:44, 3 September 2007 (UTC)
- My reasons being that I don't want to alienate one of our best editors/admins/moderators - or whatever we think of sysops as.
- Sorry for rude comments/nasty actions, I was stressed and pissed off last night - have now had many many sleepage and feel much better. Feel free to do all the things you said above. TeamSpeak could be difficult - how about IRC? And can you make things on the wiki that only sysops can see? I want to make an admin toolbox with discussion areas. --Sam "The Boss"

- Supuh, I'm pleased to welcome you (again) to the Simpedia administration team. Sam, I'm working on it. TeamSpeak/IRC? Well, if you register an IRC channel... TeamSpeak will be easy, set up port forwarding for a TeamSpeak server on your computer, remember not to switch it off, give me a superadmin password and log onto the server 10 minutes later to find it set up and ready for Team Speakage. --EdK (talk) (email) 18:26, 3 September 2007 (UTC)
- I don't have a webserver any more I'm afraid, so TeamSpeak is probably out. I toyed with the idea of actually making a Ubuntu partition on my hard disk, but decided I prefer the flexibility of Virtual Machines and being able to switch from Windows to Linux in seconds... and running a webserver on a VM is more trouble than it's worth. --Sam "The Boss"

- Why wasn't I nor anyone else informed? That is hardly legit if you don't tell anyone but those who you know are against me. Please update this page wit the legitimate info. (not 11:20 to 19:30, I'm in school then.)User:Supuhstar/sig
- Unfortunately I haven't yet made a page for discussing changes to the site interface, so we have had a few misunderstandings and problems. However, I'm about to make some admin tools and the interface discussion will be part of that. --Sam "The Boss"

[comment on this] Real Website Offer
Sam, Gabriel at Absolute Entertainment says he'll pay us if we can produce a website for a cleaning service, Bclean, and his video shop, Absolute Entertainment.
The priority is Bclean. He will provide us with whatever pictures or information we need. Then we can easily do something with Absolute Entertainment, http://www.4agoodnightin.co.uk .
How long did it take you to come up with the Kutz design.
I can do this alone in CSS if you do not wish to help.

[comment on this] Admin Tools
Admin tools... You can make a Javascript HTML block in something or other, that uses position:fixed to float somewhere. I'll make it appear to Sysops+. Admin discussions? These would have to take place in IRC or the forums.

It just sayswhile(!succeed) { cheat(); if(caught) then lie(); }User:Supuhstar/sig
- I did that. It's supposed to. When it was Sam's intro it said something else but it still looked like code.... It's meant to look like code. --EdK (talk) (email) 08:14, 4 September 2007 (UTC)
Mine was funnier because of the reference to the proverb - "If at first you don't succeed, try, try, try again". Especially since I made the trying into an infinite loop (if you never succeed). Yours just means "If at first you don't succeed, cheat, cheat, cheat again, if you're caught, lie, lie, lie again. Not a great proverb. :P Sam "The Boss"

- Nada. Mine means "If at first you don't succeed, cheat. Repeat until caught. Then lie. When off the hook, commence cheating again and so forth - until success is achieved." In reference to the proverb "If you try and don't succed, cheat. Repeat until caught. Then lie." as posted on many websites with a quote of the day box. --EdK (talk) (email) 20:35, 5 September 2007 (UTC)

[comment on this] IM
Moved from User:Supuhstar/IM.
The meeting to decide on this issue, to be held, internationally, in Windows Live Messenger, has been postponed for an unspecified ammount of time, to be determined by the Boss, Sam. When it does happen, though, it will again consist of a debate as to whether to give this logo "official" status. All present at the time and date of the meeting, which is to be determined by Sam, will vote the use of this logo. If anyone called to the meeting is not there, there is nothing to be said about it and his/her vote will NOT be counted! The participants are to be Cowplant, EdK, Nathan, Ryan, Sam, and
