Thanks for joining Simpedia, Goldpearl! I am Supuhstar, a Sysop here on Simpedia. As you can probably see, the site is still in the early to middle stages of its life, and we don't have many completed articles or pages yet. However, we are working to create a huge online library of The Sims Series knowledge, and the more users we have working with us and contributing their knowledge, the better. If you check back regularly you may have messages on here, or on other pages you have contributed to. I hope that you contribute as much as possible, for we aim to be the largest Sims Fansite out there, and also want alot of well-written content with pictures. If you don't understand something, feel free to contact me, Nathan, Ed or Head-of-Site Sam.

On this site we (the Admins) tend to take charge of different sections:

• For general things, comments, suggestions, etc. contact Sam.
• For content problems you can talk to Nathan or Sam.
• For technical or development problems you should contact Ed.
• For help with downloads and other content not listed above (Characters, EP pages, Templates, etc.), contact me.

1. I see you made a new userpage, and that you are new to wiki. The first thing I saw was that you didn't know why you were on the Category:High-Contribution users list. This is because this list isn't for the ones who contributed the most by number, but by frequency. For instance, If you made one contribution per week, your frequency would be 1/7, but if you contributed twice per day, your frequency would be 2/1. Since your frequency is much higher than that of all others except mine, you have made it onto the list. This list is reset approximately bi-monthly. (P.S. Your frequency is 1/3, or ≈.33 edits per day. Mine is 4111/359 or ≈11.45 edits per day)
2. I saw that you typed

It's great to see that you are more active than I am at the moment; but I am helping behind the scenes with Sam (and Ed will be back soon!)

If you have read the news you will see that Sam is working on the new Wiki again and we will hopefully have it ready by the time The Sims 3 comes out - basically that will be 'ready' as in with some basic information on it. This wiki will not be discarded though. There will be a link on the new version to this one as this will be 'The Sims 2 Wiki'. Thanks for keeping the virtural streets clean while I'm gone. I've been grounded from my computer until I finish painting my room (I know. It's a wierd incentive.), so I should be back within a week! I'll be better than ever, too, because I'll be keeping Simpedia on a 1TB hard drive (Yes, I can do that.), leaving my computer much cleaner and faster.

Well first I was using the Spore creature creator, then when the main game was released, I loved it so much, that evntually I had to limit the amount of time in which I play Spore so I can edit Simpedia again! Sorry for that huge gap of time. Goldpearl 19:29, 10 October 2008 (UTC)
