The time, date, and age indicator in The Sims 2
As in TS1, time can be controlled in 4 stages and is only displayed in the 12-hour format. However, time in TS2 plays a much bigger role than it did in TS1. This is because the time of day controls many more factors:

- Postion of the Sun and/or Moons in the sky
- When Sims go to work
- When Kids go to school
- When Sims age
- When Teens can sneak out (after 10 PM)
- When Neighbors go to sleep (If you call them between 10 PM and 7 AM, they can get angry)
