From evidence in the The Sims 3: An Introduction, The Goth family will be nothing like the previous two. No first names have been assigned to the individuals, but it does mention Mortimer. There are a few possbilities:

1. The man in the picture really is Mortimer and...
   1. time is turned back.
   2. he got a very new look.
2. The man in the picture is Alexander and...
   1. he has his own family, dressing and acting in the modern sense of the word "goth". The child gives added dimention to the storyline.
3. The child in the picture is Mortimer Goth
