In The Sims 2, Bella Goth has disappeared. There are many theories as to why this is, and many threads on thesims2.ea.com BBS forums have attempted to solve this.

- She is in the hot air balloon with Don Lothario (see picture on right).
- Don Lothario murdered her.
- Don Lothario sold her to the aliens for money.
- She was abducted by aliens and never returned.
- She was abducted by aliens and put down somewhere else.
- Dina Caliente is part alien and has apducted her.

A strange part of the whole thing is that Mortimer doesn't even know who she is! He does, however, seem to have quite the affection for Dina Caliente. Even so, he does remember Bella, and, like Cassandra, remembers her being abducted by aliens, but it is a green memory (He likes that memory).

Her picture can be seen on the side of the milk carton, where the photo of missing people usually is.
[edit] The Truth Revealed
After much debate, the true whereabouts of Bella were revealed. She is a Townie in Strangetown. There are ways to bring her back to the Goth family, and that will be discussed below later.
You can get Bella back by bringing up the cheat box (ctrl-shift-c) and type in boolprop testingcheatsenabled true. Then shift click on a member of the Goth's and click Spawn. Once you bring up Spawn click Tombstone of L&D. Then click on "Get Family Member".
