Teen is the fourth life stage. It comes before Adult (Young Adult if University is installed) and after Child. Upon becoming a Teen, a sim must choose an Aspiration.
Like children, teens go to school, although they return at 1 pm rather than 3 pm. Teens can also have after-school jobs, but will be fired if their grades get too low. This is the first stage at which Sims are capable of romantic interaction, although they cannot Woo Hoo.
Teens are not under the watch of social services and, therefore, will not be taken from the lot if the Social Worker comes by.
