When you join Simpedia you start as a user. You have a user page, and you can edit, move or create articles. However, you cannot edit Official pages or pages which have been specifically protected by an administrator.
Users whose account has existed for more than 1 hour and have made more than 5 edits to the site will be registered internally as Established Users. They will then be removed from the list of patrolled users.
[edit] Patrollers
The right of Patrollers may be assigned by Sysops and Developers
Patrollers can use the site's patrol functions, which include monitoring new users and checking up on new and previously patrolled pages.

The right of Sysops may be assigned by developers
Short for System Operators, and also called Administrators, or Admins, Sysops can perform the basic administrative functions on the site: Blocking/Unblocking users, changing protection levels and using the RC patrol functions to name a few. They can assign patroller rights and edit nearly all areas of the site.
[edit] Developers
The right of Developers may be assigned by the rootAdmin only!
Developers are Simpedia users who have full FTP access to the site, can edit any user rights and modify any pages. They have supreme authority over the site, although they must collaborate on major decisions.

The right of Founders may be assigned by developers
Founders have no special powers; they are the founding members of Simpedia. Although founders are technically those who started the site, this status may still be awarded while Simpedia is in the early stages of construction.
