Information of the Expansion Pack

Ready to get your sims out of town and into a warm (or cold!) vacation? Then come on down and buy The Sims 2 Bon Voyage today!

Gameplay: 7.6

As we continue in on The Sims 2 Bon Voyage, the actual concept has been taken from the original series. This has taken a major percentage of the gameplay score. The loading times has slightly been increased and the specifications has gone up.

This does not remove the fun at all! It is about 20x better than the original series! You get to choose between three locations, instead of the usual one.
If you have seasons, The Seasons do impact the game.
Twikkii Island: All Summer 'round
Takemizu Village: All Spring 'round
Three lakes: Fall 1/2 than Winter 1/2

There are also secret lots that you may obtain through digging for treasure. (Maps)
Twikkii Island: Witch Doctor (Voodoo Doll)
Three Lakes: Bigfoot (May ask him to join household)
Takemizu Village: Old Wise Man (Teaches you a dragon legend)

Replay Value: 5.2

Yes its an expansion pack but it doesn't grab my attention very long. After awhile it will grow less interesting for me to keep playing it over and over. Thanks Maxis/EA, but try again. You may find this game a little interesting but like the rest it will die.

Graphics: 7.2

Maxis did do a wonderful job in this area as with the rest of The Sims Franchise. The detail is nice when you have all the settings on high.

Overall: 7.5

Overall I will recommend you to buy it! No strings attached if you like The Sims 2!
