Review:TS2 Seasons by Nathan
From Simpedia
Well I can tell you that in my opinion this is the best EP by miles! In Uni, you go to university and get a new life stage, in Nightlife you get cars and can go Downtown, in Open For Business you can buy and make businesses from nothing, in Pets, you get Pets but in Seasons there's a lot more than rain, snow and hail...

New Additions
Riverblossom Hills
Firstly, I'd like to thank EA for putting in a new neighbourhood! And secondly, I'd like to say thanks for the new deaths and new lifestyle that your Sims can have.
This new neighbourhood is called Riverblossom Hills and has their seasons set as Winter, Spring, Autumn, Winter, so you can expect Snow for most of the year. One of the great things about the seasons is as they change you get interchanging weather, eg. going from Winter to Spring may mean you get snow in the beginning of Spring. This adds more life to the game that ever before.
Weather
So your wondering what weather we can expect, well it's quite simple really! The weather is based on what weather we get usually in the right season. So you'd expect to get mainly rain and snow in Winter and possibly hail, but no sunshine. In Spring you'd expect to get rain and sunshine with the occasional snow and hailstorms. In Summer expect a lot of sun with occasional rainfalls and in Autumn expect rain with some sun.
Temperture
Along with weather, your sims also have a body temperture which is displayed on a new bar near their want panals. Normally it is in the green, because the house is room temperture, but going outside will raise or lower your temperture depending on the weather. Use common sence. Letting your sims leave the house in the winter in their underwear will make them freeze faster then if they were in the new outerwear clothing options. Children and younger will be taken away by the social worker if their tempertures get too high or low, and elders will die more easily so be careful. As a side note, working out and going in a hot tub also raises your sims' temperture while going in the pool lowers it.
Gardening
Now what about the new lifestyle your Sims can live. Your Sims can have their own blossoming fruit trees or vegetable patches. Choose from Apple, Lemon or Orange trees to fuel your juicer which comes new to Seasons, though if they are not planted in the new greenhouse, you have to grow them during the correct season. You have a wide range of choice of vegetables from Tomatos to Eggplant, you can enjoy watching them come to life. But with fertilising, sometimes it can all go wrong...
PlantSims
Your Sims can, if they use too much fertiliser, become PlantSims, where your only needs are Light/Sunshine, Water and Love. Sounds easy doesn't it, well to survive you need healthy helpings of sun every day, so if you are in the middle of winter, what do you do? Well, this game also comes with a sunlight which your PlantSims can get light from, that will, thankfully, keep them alive. Plant Sims only have three life stages: toddler, adult, and elder. They also can have children in both the regular way and by simply spawning a toddler plant sim, which is a clone of its parent and automatically gets a gold badge in garedening when it becomes an adult. When they are in good moods, Plant Sims can give off "spores of hapiness", giving nearby sims a mood boost.
Careers and Reward Objects
In Seasons it adds 6 new careers, all with their new Reward Objects. The 6 new careers are: Adventurer, Education, Gamer, Journalism, Law and Music. They also release new Reward Objects once you reach the top of your career. The Reward Objects vary from a Rock God Guitar to a Law Judge Podium. This game also comes with a new Aspiration Points Reward, this special reward can change the weather and a seasons permanently, so if you wanted it to Snow through Winter for infinity, you could have that.
