Mortimer is now old and the richest sim in Pleasantview, thanks to his and his family's many inventions. He wears a red jacket and black trousers and will be the one to poke and shove those unlucky sims who decide to spy on their neighbors with their telescope. Mortimer Goth has recently retired from his job as a mad scientist. Mortimer was married to Bella Goth, but she has vanished. Shortly after Bella's disappearance, the Caliente twins, Dina and Nina appeared in the neighborhood. Both are interested in Mortimer (only for his millions) and Mortimer returns Dina's affections.
His daughter, Cassandra is now an adult. She has started to walk in her father's footsteps, working as a scientist. She is unaware that Don Lothario, whom she is engaged to, is cheating on her with three different girls (Nina and Dina Caliente, and Kaylynn Langerak) at the start of the game. Nonetheless Mortimer does not like Don. Mortimer's son, Alexander, is a child, going to private school, and he is not friends with many other children in the neighborhood.
