Every single page on Simpedia has a Discussion page or a Talk page. This is where users can comment on the article, or leave messages for other users.

To start a new discussion on a talk page:

1. Make sure you are on the article's talk page; if not, click the "Talk" or "Discussion" tab at the top of the screen.
2. Click the small '+' sign next to 'edit' on the tab bar.
3. Choose a title for the message or discussion.
4. Type your message in the main edit box. You can use any editing codes you like.
5. Sign your name at the end of the message by typing ~~~~ (this will insert your signature - you can change this in your preferences).
6. Click save page.
   
   

To respond to a comment:

1. On the talk or discussion page, click "comment on this" at the top of the section you wish to reply to.
2. Scroll to the bottom of the edit box.
3. Indent your message by typing a colon (:). If you are the first person to respond use one colon, if you are the second person use 2, the third 3, etc. If you add another message to the same discussion later, indent it by the same amount as your previous message - this helps people see that the two messages are from the same person.
