Categories
Simpedia sorts articles by putting them into categories. We use this system to control what appears on the Download and review pages, as well as a few other areas of the site, and it also helps us to find certain kinds of article.
Download Categories
All downloads must be added to a category so that they appear on the downloads list. Each link on the lower links bar represents a category - add your page to whichever one you choose simply by typing [[Category:Category name]] at the bottom of the page.
Reviews and Tutorials
Reviews must be added to Category:Reviews or one of its subcategories, and Tutorials must be added to Category:Tutorials. This ensures that they appear on the relevant contents pages.
Images
Where possible, try to add images you upload to a category, in the same way as described above. You can create a new category simply by adding something to it, however please try to be consistent.
