Dynasties

A dynasty in The Sims 2 is defined as when a male and female sim have a child, the child grows up, marries, and has a child of their own. The original sims do not have to die off. At this point it is considered a 1^st-generation dynasty. There is virturally no limit to how many generations a dynasty can have, given the player can keep them all alive and marrying.
