[edit] In The Sims

The date is never shown, but the number of days a sim lives is shown on the Neighborhood Screen.

[edit] In The Sims 2

The date is shown to the left of the time
The date is shown to the left of the time

The date consists only of the days, Sunday through Saturday. The date changes each day and therefore allows for more complex Job and School hours. For example, an entry-level job might make a Sim work Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, while a CEO-level Sim might work only Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
