[edit] Opening the Cheat Box
To open the cheat box, hold Ctrl + Alt + C.
Now that the cheat box is open you can open it further by pressing ` (console key in many games). (This is located to the left of the 1 key on most 101- and 105-key keyboards) By doing this the cheat box will stay
open until you hit that key again.
All cheats with on or true in them can be turned back on/off by replacing it with off or false. (same works the other way around)

All the cheats are colour coded to help you see how dangerous or harmless the cheat is. Below is a table with the color and comment about what that colour represents. Cheats are also listed from most dangerous to least dangerous.

| Autopatch on/off | This will allow the game to automatically look for new patches for the game

| Moveobjects on/off | Let's you move any object. Anything can now be picked up and moved. If you delete Sims, they do not come back.

| Aging on/off | turns aging on and off (off = sims live forever as in TS1)

| Vsync on/off | This will improve the games performance but might cause graphic errors
|
| StretchSkeleton 0.01+ | Makes your Sims Larger or Smaller (0.5 is half, 2.0 is double, etc.)

| boolProp useShaders true | Forces graphics card to use best effects in the game. With Seasons, it allows pool water surface to be animated, the fish in lakes to be seen, and X-Ray cursor to be activated.

| boolProp constrainfloorelevation false | Makes it possible to raise or lower the floor even when there are objects, flooring, walls, or other levels on/above it.

| boolProp snapObjectsToGrid false | Place objects out of grid.

| boolProp simShadows false | Turns shadow of sim off.

| boolProp displayPaths true | You see the path where the selected sim walks to.

| boolProp unevenTilesFloorable true | Can place floortiles on sloped ground.

| boolProp enablePostProcessing true | Required for all below film making cheats to work.

| Bloom (r g b x) | Creates a filmic look in which every thing's so bright it blurs together "r", "g," and "b" are colour values (0-255) and "x" is the amount of blooming from 0 to 255.

| vignette (centerx centery X) | Creates a filmic look in which a focal point is clear but everything around it is blurry.
|
| filmgrain (0-1) | Creates a film graininess.
|
| slowmotion (0-8) | Slows time up to 8x.
|
| letterbox (0.0-0.4) | Creates a letterbox view of size specified.
