Baby is the first life stage. This can only be accessed in-game, you cannot make a baby in Create-A-Sim. Baby comes before Toddler. When a baby is first born, you cannot access its need panals. The only needs it has are bladder, hunger, hygiene, and energy. To feed the baby you need to have an adult/young adult/elder/teen get a bottle from the refrigerator and feed them. Playing with a baby after it has just eaten may cause them to puke. To change the baby you can simply use a adult/young adult/elder/teen, click on the baby and select "change diaper". However, this leaves the dirty diaper on the floor so it is recommended to use a diaper changing station, which also fills the hygiene need. If you cannot afford a diaper changing station, you can also fill the hygiene need by bathing the baby in a sink. The energy meter is filled by putting the baby in a crib (in a quiet room so the baby doesn't wake). The baby should never be outside its crib unless its needs are being filled or someone is playing with them. A baby generally needs a diaper change soon after a bottle, and a nap soon after that. If babies are treated badly (ex: not fed) they will be taken away by the social service workers.
